Art Inspired Yellow Wedding – Betty & Nana

Betty and Nana’s wedding day felt warm, artful, and full of life. Their inspiration for the day was a work of art, with designs from iconic European paintings in the stationery and statues lining the tables. The morning started with matching pajamas, coffee shared between generations, and the kind of quiet in-between moments that end up meaning the most years later.

Inspired by their shared love of travel and European architecture, the couple chose a venue, The Bradford, that felt reminiscent of wandering through galleries and historic streets abroad. Every detail throughout the wedding carried that vision forward — an eclectic blend of classical art, vintage influence, and modern styling that transformed the space into something that felt both elevated and deeply personal.

Fashion and florals played such an important role in telling the story of the celebration. The bride’s dress felt bold, expressive, and artistic. Soft spring florals in cheerful yellow tones brought lightness and warmth into the design, creating a beautiful contrast against the more classical, regal atmosphere of the venue. More than anything, the couple wanted their guests to feel special and included, especially the lifelong friends who traveled from all over to celebrate alongside them.

Guests were welcomed into an experience filled with beautiful desserts, dancing, laughter, and conversation late into the evening. It all reflected who they are as a couple: creative, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the people around them. After meeting at a party in 2023 and slowly building a friendship across cities and shared circles in Seattle, their wedding day felt like the natural continuation of something genuine and lasting.
