Hi, I’m Rae and I fell in love with Maleana Gardens when they first opened. We became their preferred photographer company when our styles meshed perfectly together to create a fun, intimate and beautiful experience celebrating couple at our favorite place on earth, Kailua.
That that I’ve moved off island, we have a team of photographers who are the go to Maleana experts and love working with our couples to create beautiful results.

Meet Kristen
Kristen is a long time wedding and portrait photographer who has loved every minute she gets to spend on the island. She cares a lot about each and every couple and knows that every job is someone’s best day of their lives!
Kristen has two boys (13 and 8) and spends her free time hanging out with them when not photographing. She loves a good conversation and making sure your dress is fluffed and your details look immaculate.

Meet Amanda
Amanda is a big fan of Hawaii sunsets and photographing love. She lives very close to Maleana Gardens and knows that it’s one of the best places on earth! Amanda is laid back and comforting, and loves capturing moments as they happen for authentic and timeless photographs.
She has two little ones that she adores and loves having a fulfilling job where she can capture memories and still have time to play with her.

how it all began
Rae arrived at Maleana as they opened and realized quickly that she was gonna be back a lot more. Rae’s even brought her family to stay in the bungalow even though she lived 15 minutes away at the time because it was that dreamy of a staycation!
Now that she’s moved off island, she’s curated a team of trusted photographers to continue the mission of capturing wedding days at Maleana and give the same caring approach.
Rae will be handling booking and editing and is an expert at working with your planner to ensure fantastic results on the day of.
