When I first realized I was going to become a mom, I knew that I was heading for the adventure of a lifetime. My two baby boys came into the world and life was never the same.
Life is busy, appointments, jobs, errands to run, mouths to feed, I know. I live that same life too.
But some of the most important things I made time for were the photoshoots for the family.
Because picture this. It’s the end of the day, my boys are in bed. It’s one of those nights I happen to open their first year photo book.
I feel myself catch my breath. It was like yesterday, yet a million years away. It’s too fast, and too sweet to bear. The memories. A tear falls down my cheek.
I know, simply because I’m a mom.
These are the photos that matter.

LET’S CONNECT
After photographing hundreds of portrait sessions over many years years, I’ve found the best way to tailor your session is through hearing more! Where is your family most comfortable, anything special you want to show off?
We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of how to prepare, answer any questions you might have about working with me and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other.
LOCATION
Once your date is reserved, we’ll start chatting about possible locations for your session. There are some great spots in the area I know about that I can help you with if you aren’t sure.
If you do have your own unique spot or place you’d love to photograph, just let me know, we’ll want to make sure the light is optimal for the time we select.
WARDROBE STYLING
If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days when you literally tried on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you’re in luck.
I’ve put together an outfit suggestion guide with tips for every member of the family.
THE SESSION
On the day of your session, we’ll make sure the weather still looks like it’s going to corporate. We’ll exchange numbers and finalize our meeting location. Please plan for your session to take about an hour or more from start to finish, depending on which package you go with.
DELIVERY
All images from our sessions are typically delivered within about two weeks of the shoot date via an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to share your favorites with family, order prints and even download images to share on social media.
Don’t forget to save your images on your own hard drive as well!
KEEPSAKES
We are proud to offer our clients a variety of ways to turn their images into keepsakes. Wall-mounted canvas prints to decorate your home, beautiful handmade albums and more.
Images are meant to be shown in your home and actually seen. What a special way to remember this season you’re in!

Maternity sessions are the perfect way to commemorate such a big change in your lives, and the strength and beauty of your own body during this time.

Capture your new arrival in the comfort of your own home, with a lifestyle approach that includes your family, along with portraits of little one alone.

Family sessions outdoors are just a magical way to capture your entourage in a fun, interactive way!

Family sessions in home are such a blast, and aren’t just reserved for newborn sessions! We’ll be hanging out in rooms with natural light, and just showing what a day in the life is like.

When picking outfits we recommend keeping in mind the word “complement” rather than “match.” I will be sending over outfit inspiration boards to help with giving you inspiration and suggestions.
Images are
meant to be displayed
However you decide to share your images, all I ask is that you get them printed in some way. Photographs of loved ones are not meant to be stored away in hard drives in the back of a shelf. They should live on walls and in coffee table books, and in frames on desks.
You know, where we can get little reminders about what all of this is for.
