This editorial showcases an event where polished formality dissolves into intimate indulgence, a mix of the traditional wedding traditions with relationships that blur in the event industry. The creative visionary behind this editorial is Natasha of Aisle and Co. the shoot showcased bold contrasts, refined details, and modern romance—all with North Carolina’s natural charm as the backdrop.
The main visual theme was our Chess set, created with a checkered dance floor and large chess pieces that are both often used in the event space, but rarely put together. We intertwined the service aspect of celebration with a playful take on modern fashion and design, featuring this stunning gown by Saint Bridal. These Dolce & Gabbana pointed heels were the perfect pairing to tie in the classic pattern to the environment.
The bride and her bridesmaids are featured enjoying the various refreshments at the party, including wine, cherries and a lavish cake by Aliesha Genevieve. Some of my favorite images are the group all together around the table, experiencing the party while making a mess instead of just standing by worrying about keeping things clean.
Noelle the Dalmatian made an appearance and had a great time snuggling up with everyone giving her attention. The ceremony arch was created by Revel to give a different take on what you can do with florals for when you stand at the altar, offering a more long lasting idea.
