Gabby & Jerry’s Historic Wakefield Barn Wedding was absolutely incredible and the dance party of the year! They started the morning getting ready at the Renaissance Hotel in North Hills, then we headed over to a formal ceremony at the stunning Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral. Then we headed over to the Wakefield Barn for photos, some down time before the cocktail hour started and then an amazing reception.
FROM GABBY & JERRY: “We met in optometry school in Houston, Texas. Jerry was a 4th year and I was a 1st year and he was my TA for one of my classes. My roommate also happened to be the little sister of one of his close friends and helped play matchmaker! We’ve been together since January 2019. We wanted our special day to be classic, elegant and timeless. We both love the color blue for different reasons so we decided since our wedding is in December we would do a cool-toned icy blue as a pop of color. Overall, we wanted a clean look with a hint of wintery vibes. We wanted to embrace our cultures and share traditional Vietnamese/Taiwanese food with our family and friends for our wedding. Lucky for us, the Barn allowed us to bring in a caterer from Atlanta, GA to provide a delicious and authentic 10-course meal for all our guests!
